First CD? Well, one year my parents bought me my first CD player for Christmas. I immediately took all of the money that my grandparents and aunts and uncles gave me and went to the local CD store, where I bought all of the following CD's:
Pantera: Cowboys, Vulgar, and Far Beyond Driven
Metallica: Kill 'em All, Ride the Lightning, Puppets, and Justice.
I still have all of them except for Ride the Lightning. I still have the case, but I wonder what happened to the CD... did you steal it? :)

My latest obsession is Gov't Mule's new CD, "High & Mighty," but I plan on using my paycheck today to buy RAQ's latest: "ton these."

One song to summarize my life so far? Impossible! But, just for s**ts and giggles, I'll pick "Press On" by Robert Randolph and the Family Band.

I'm only a little ashamed to admit that I have bawled openly at concerts. Warren Haynes can almost always get me verklempt when he performs "Glory Road," "Patchwork Quilt," or "I'll Be the One" solo acoustic.

I'm not going to answer the "soundtrack to my life" question only because my musical life is an ever-changing and ever-evolving experience. If you could collect recordings from all of the performances at Bonnaroo 2004 and 2005, the best Rush concert from each tour of their carreer, and every Phish performance from 1992 through 1999, you'd be about halfway there.

First CD: Black Sabbath's Paranoid
Last CD: John Zorn's Moonchild
I can't pick one song to summarize my life... let's go with Vivaldi's Four Seasons
Many songs have made me cry
On the soundtrack of my life would be: Vivaldi's Four Seasons, other classical music, Mr. Bungle, REM, The Cure, Black Sabbath, Pantera, Pink Floyd, The Doors, Fugazi, Gillian Welch, Faith No More, Neil Young, Cat Stevens, Naked City, The Grateful Dead, and the list could go on... I have broad music tastes.
