It's our 1 year anniversary, and i would really like to plan something nice to show him how much he means to me? Anyone else got any suggestions that have proved successful for them before?

does he have a fav. football or baseball team? get 2 tickets for the both of you, ask the score board manager if you can put "I LOVE YOU (boyfriends name here)"
he'll love it.

I do not know how much money you have but for me, a gesture like the one here would blow my mind. Book a room with jacuzzi in a five star hotel for two nights, Check in on a Friday evening and check out on a Sunday afternoon. Room service only. No going to the restaurant or bar. Have the hotel stack your room up with wines and exotic spirits. If you let the hotel know it's your anniversary, they may throw in some free bee's. Pack just two new house coats and two sleeping gowns. Let the hotel serve you guys dinner on the Friday night in the room. Order 12 red roses and 12 white rose to be delivered on Saturday morning at the hotel with a card that reads - You are my dream come true and I'll always love you. (even if he's not) :). Spend the whole 48hrs in the hotel room and do what ever pleases the both of you, but switch off all cell phones and do not let anybody else know where you guys are. Come back and tell us how he reacted .. pleeeassssse.

I made my boyfriend a collage of a bunch of pictures we had taken, and had some quotes and our songs on there as well, covered the collage up with platic wrap and made chocolate coverd straberries in the same of a heart with our initaisl inside the heart. It was wayy cute =)
You could also make him a CD with a bunch of love songs it. And a card.
Everytime I get ym b/f a card i find // make a quote to put at the end.

for mine, i booked a jacuzzi suite at a hotel. i packed the clothes and checked into the room in the afternoon. i stocked the fridge with wine and strawberries. then i went home and told him i wanted to go out, then i drove him there, he was totally suprised
