Is there anything I can buy to make it look normal again? Like a replacement bottle of clear coat? Do I have to sand off the pieces that are visible?

No! their is nothing you can do accept pay a body shop to repair it you can attempt this yourself chances are you'll just make it worse. the other option is the grill is removable or a single panel shop for a used one to replace it and be done with it.
