I bought a computer from a coworker 2 mths ago.The agreement was that she will give me a computer with some specific specs and that I will pay her $50 per mth untilI would have completed paying $250. So far I have pay her $100. However, i observed just after i collected the system that it does not have the specs that we agreed on. her brother is a computer technician and she said that she will have him look at it. I took the computer at her brother's house 3 weeks now. Since then she nor her brother has not told me anything about the computer. However, I've seen her attitude chaning around the office. She has become very snobbisn and evil around the office(not kidding). And almost to the point where she is not doing work. This week I've realsied that she has stopped talking to me. I cant even ask her anything work related mutchless about the computer that her brother has for 3 weeks now and mind you Im paying for it.
What should I do?

i would say give the computer back and stop paying and go to an actual computer store to get a new computer. obviously she knew something was wrong with the computer when she sold it or she wouldn't be such a ***** about it. I would also ask for the money i payed already and if she wont give it back then just forget about it and remember not to buy anything from her again because it seems to me that she screwed you. sorry.

Go back to her brothers house and pick up the computer. Pay the rest of the money you owe and later you can apply the specs you are wanting, but you are only paying $250. for this computer at $50. a month, that is awesome. And computers now a days you can not get that cheap, so don't worry about the specs till a later time. The computer works and thats what matters. GO get the computer, you have already paid $100 for this computer and the longer the brother has it and the fact that she has quit talking to you is a sign that you could lose the computer soon if you don't get it now, and you will lose the $100 dollars you already have invested in it. I speak truth, please , Go GET YOUR COMPUTER. Before its gone and the money you paid is gone too. BLessed be

Ideally, you should get your money back from her and let her deal with the computer. However, it sounds like approaching her may not be an option. Go pick up the computer from her brother and tell him you're taking it as-is. A great time to re-negotiate the price of the computer is the next time you are supposed to pay her. Offer her less money for the thing, since you are willing to take it as it is. You need to have the computer in your possession in order for this to work out in your favor though. Good luck.

It sounds like you should save your money and stop paying for the computer and cut your losses just think she could hay gotten you for something much more than a hundred dollars .
and as far as work keep it professional
it will get to her way more than you and now you know she not trust worthy

number one do not give her anymore money. Number two simply tell her to either return the money or the computer as agreed or you will go to the police. This is theft, she has your money and you have no product. I hope you got receipts or gave her checks or in front of a witness. You also need to go to your boss, no details just tell her you and this coworker are having a personal issue but she is letting affect your working together.

Her being snobby has nothing to do with the contract you signed with her.
The deal was she gives you a "spec" computer you pay her.
The agreement seems to have been broken, stop paying, but agreed to pay in full once the brother pc tech has fixed and brought the pc up to the agreed upon spec.
"Moonlight" says kick her butt and call the Police!!

You haven't done anything. Just ask her if her brother is finished with the computer or ask her how you can reach her brother. Act normal, you haven't done anything to cause her weirdness. Maybe there's something wrong with the computer, or she is embarrassed that it's taking so long to be fixed, so in turn she's acting weird. Just speak up & don't let her weirdness affect you.

i hope you have a written agreement or someone witness the agreement because you can file a claim in small claims court to either get back the computer or a refund of your money i wouldn't worry about her speaking your not losing anything she sounds like a loser

Take it back-the money and fire her cuase sounds like she is lazyyyy. And if u can go buy a computer or rent it. The best computer is the microsoft xp it really cool and go get time warner cable thats ok.
