I have AVG free edition anti-virus with McAfee firewall. I didn't find any trojan or virus so that's not the problem...

Add more RAM. A Windows XP computer should have at least 512 MB and 1 GB is recommended. You can also upgrade to a display card with a fast processor and 128 MB of display RAM.
You should also de-fragment your hard drive and consider upgrading to a larger hard drive (at least 100 GB) with at least an 8 MB buffer. A hard drive with a 16 MB buffer is better still.
Finally, go to Start > Run... and type in "msconfig". Click on the "Startup" tab all the way on the right and uncheck anything that you obviously know you do not need. For example, if you see something that says "AOL fast loader" and you do not use AOL, uncheck that box. Only uncheck a box if you are sure you don't need that function. Click the "Apply" box and re-boot your computer. You will probably get an alert box when you re-boot saying that changes have been made, blah, blah. Just close it and ignore it.
Your computer probably loads a bunch of things that you never need. All those tiny icons on the lower right are things that are running on your computer and slowing it down. If you don't know what some of them are and never use them, do the "msconfig" thing until you figure out a way to delete them.
But the first thing is to add a lot more RAM.

Sounds like you need to go in there and clean the adware/spyware. Go to this website:
http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-SE-Personal-Edition/3000-8022_4-10045910.html
this is a free spyware/adware "search and destroy". Follow the directions. Your computer will be running better in no time!
