i was suppossed to start the 25th like last month but i haven't. today's the 29th and i took an ept and it says not pregnant. me and my husband have been trying to conceieve (since i lost one in may) is it possible to still be pregnant even if it says not pregnant. with my first pregnancy i found out a week before my missed period.

Yes, you could be. Each pregnancy is different even if it's the same mother. Your body just may not be producing enough hormones to indicate it on a home test yet. Having just miscarried in May, which I am so sorry to hear, your period may be a little irregular still. Give it another week and then try a home test again. If you're still getting a negative at that point, make a doctor's appointment and have a blood test done. Good luck and I hope you and your husband end up with a healthy baby!

Negative pregnancy tests this early are common. Wait a few days, and if your period doesn't start, test again! For more info on pregnancy tests, see:

Pregnancy tests are pretty accurate but they dont always work for everyone especially if you have low hormone levels so a blood test would be best

here is a trick i learned count 19 days from the time you had sex. on the 19 day take a pregency test, if it is before the 19 day it is to early to tell. Good luck.
