I think that as long as you are just friends with someone then you are not doing anything wrong. Ask yourself this, if your spouse was to see everything you said with your friends, and everything they said to you, would your spouse be angry/hurt/upset/ect. If the answer is no then I don't think you are doing anything wrong, if the answer is yes then you are crossing a line. I have many male on line friends, some of them i've known longer than my husband, but they are only friends and none of our conversations have ever been inappropiate.

I have lots of friends on here, and i know some are married.
And i know for a fact that their spouse knows we talk. We talk
about all kinds of things ( excluding sex ) We are friends only.
I guess it all depends on what you are doing , and saying with
them. And what the one you are married to thinks about it. If they
don't like it , than i guess you have to respect that.

If it's just on here (yahoo answers) that will prolly be ok, but not something like the personals.

But, be careful. Even if it's honestly just a friendship, your partner might get the wrong idea.

Talk to your Husband and see what he thinks. I only go to Yahoo Answers and nothing more not even chat rooms because I never want to be accused of flirting and the get into trouble by my Husband-but that's me!!

I am happily married and I do have friends on here, so I don't see any problem with it. As long as you don't cross the line and get into a "sexual" relationship online.
