it's NOT pronounced like FO. My housemate is vietnemese and he and all of his friends pronounce it "fuh". In fact, they use it as a joke on their VSA shirts. They all say "Pho King", pronounced "fuh King."

The word is pronounced ''fu''. In Vietnamese their is a little question mark above it so you pronounce it kind of like a question. For example, when people are confused they go "Huh?". There is a question in their tone so make it sound like that. The question part isn't necessary though, unless you want it to sound perfect . Good question though, all my friends go around saying "Foe" but why take time to bother

I can't believe how many people got this wrong! No, according to ACTUAL VIETNAMESE PEOPLE, it is pronounced "Fah". That's why these people got so many down votes.

pretty easy, like the sound of FUR in English, it's with a vietnamese tone that looks liek a question mark ? so it raise up abit and falls down in a slow free fall.
