OK... I only partially agree with what you are saying.

".....and white people will take there time and think about it."

That basically implies that black people don't take the time out to listen and think in conversations and that is not true. If it is an actual conversation, and not a one sided dictation, then we take just as much time as anyone else to think about what was said, and what we want to say.

However, I do agree with you to a certain extent. I do like things short and to the point. But, when appropriate. If someone is just telling me something or explaining something, and we are not really having a conversation... then yes... keep it short. And for me personally, that's not because I am not able to take my time to listen to all of the extra unnecessary words. For example, I work in radio, and I have 2 full time jobs at the station that I squeeze in to each day. So, I don't really have the time to listen to a bunch of un-needed talk. Just get to the point, so I can go about my business.

We(blacks) don't need a bunch of words to get a point or explain one. I think a lot of times..some..white people use all these long drawn out words to prove they're smarter than what they truly believe they are. Anyone can look in a dictionary to find out what a word means, it takes skill to understand a person through "aiight then"

why do white people like to use flowery words when they are really saying nothing? sometimes i feel like i've been sold a car an i don't even drive. direct and to the point scares some whites, they need time to scheme, hence all the pretty words. stupid question.

The only thing I can think of is education. If you know what words to use properly to make your point, you'll use them. And if all you can understand is just the basic grammar school english, then that's what you'll use and understand.

because the last time our people listened to a long, drawn out story, we got hoodwinked into taking a long, drawn out boat ride.
