techinically i would say the the politicians, not so much the civilians, um and I believe big business may play a role, but there is really no proof behind that. The military by no means does, otherwise, somalia would have happened very differently

Neither. As I'm sure you've noticed, nobody's making the necessary decisions in order to win in Iraq.

Decisions ALWAYS make SOMEBODY angry. When your government's power is based on popularity, politicians learn quickly to avoid being decisive about anything. And eight years in the military taught me that commanding officers are nothing more than aspiring politicians.

As far as big business, that doesn't work either. Nobody's making profit off Iraq. If business was driving things, THAT would be different.

Big businesses using the politicians as a conduit--for the most part. Look at the big oil co. and banks. They love adversity apparently.

Civilians will always run the military. And the idea is that politicians run the military and the people run the politicians, but thats all screwed up thanks to websites like moveon.org

big business, like Jewish bankers, international banks. call the shots in this country. its all over money. money is they root of all evil. the reason why we war with other countries.
