I'm not a guy..but I thought this was a good question :)
If think women who have wider hips and are curvy are a bit more alluring. It's a sign of fertility. Fertility is healthy :) So there's nothing wrong with being curvy.
Also, as long as someone is proportionate then it depends. If you have wide hips on someone who's naturally built smaller..it wouldn't look right.

Narrow, but its a matter of personal preferance when it comes to hips. Some guys like to hold a girl with thin narrow hips around the waist, other's like a little bit of meat. But it doesn't really matter if she is not way out of proportion, The perfect proportions for me; well, i like em when they're slightly 'Hour-Glass Shaped!'

Wider I don't like it when I am with the skinny little thing I almost feel like I am going to break her into pieces so I look for wider hips that can support the action of doing it No skinny Minnie Chic's only ones with a little bit of meat on the bones.

I don't have much hips, and have never had a problem to get a good looking guy! And keep him! I don't even have big t*ts or a big *ss (it's round, though). I'm just really proportionnate!
So, I don't think you can generalize.

3: Medium top, approximately 5'6-5'7, curvy hips and long yet shapely legs, has d-cup boobs, a around yet lifted butt. Proportionate shoulders, an extremely average muffin suited, Works out each so often.. be like 'to hell with it' another situations. a pair of length 8 (US).

Women are supposed to have naturally wider hips than men because of childbirth(which is why most men find this attractive).This is refferred to as being "curvy"....what man wouldn't find that attractive?
