They are too expensive. Just go to the dollar store and buy ovulation tests.

Yes, I did and I'm having twins. Tried for 9 nine months before I purchased and became pregnant 4 months later. I bought and sold mine on ebay. It cost me approx. $55 with shipping and I sold it for $90. The test sticks cost approx. $35 on ebay for approx. 30. The ovulation test sticks at the store are good too if you know that you are ovulating and know approximately when in your cycle. If you don't than the test sticks only cover 7 days and Clear Blue monitor has thirty test sticks and will keep asking for you to test everyday until it pinpoints your fertile time. Mine worked best for me because I thought that I was ovulating around the time that most women do (14 days before menses) This wasn't true. I was ovulating late and the the monitor helped me to know that. Goodluck. You can also try charting with a basal therm. too.

I use a CBEFM - It works very well for determining when I am ovulating...it will give you a "peak" reading the day before and the day of ovulation. I got mine on e-bay (used, but I just reset it) for $47 including shipping. I have been using it for 4 months, but we just found out (after 14 months of trying) that no amount of help (like a CBEFM or other ovulation predictors) would help us because my husband has male factor infertility. I would certainly recommend the monitor to a friend, however, because it does its job very well - I would give it five stars! :)
