Planning will always be important to managers. This is because plans...be it a strategic plan or operating plan or work plan or financial plan...are important and indispensable tools for managers in making wise and good decisions in the workplace.

Planning will always be important to any company. The only way to determine what a company is going to do in their future is for them to plan. Companies that don't make plans (conscienly or not) will ultimately fail.
