club la costa has anyone anywhere heard of Club la Costa, its a timeshare thing, covers all over the world, but has thier own resorts too, I want to know the quality of it all, and if it is worth joining, and do the maintenance fees uncrease much. (i think it has a connection with "easy bookers" site)

My advice on timeshares is that you buy them in the secondary market from an existing owner (there are lots of brokers who do this). The "discount" is usually quite substantial.

I also recommend that you buy timeshares from someone like Marriott, Starwood, Hiton. etc. They have their name to protect and they manage property well.

I agree with the first guy... Timeshare is an awful investment (unless you are the intial property developer) can you not hook up with some like minded friends and buy a property overseas. If you are smart you can usully rent it out when you are not using it will usually appreciate in value.

I think Brazil, Morrocco, Bulgaria represent very good investments or maybe South Africa if you look at the slightly less obvious locations.

Timeshares are an awful investment. People buy for emotional reasons, not financial reasons.
