In Alaska just a few days ago it was $3.25 a gallon and now in central Florida it is as low as $2.23 a gallon of regular. I was also in Vancouver B.C., Canada and saw that gas was advertised at the stations for a Canadian dollar. I was ecstatic and drove around like a maniac until I filled up my rented SUV and found that it was $1 Canadian ($0.90 US) a LITER (3.78 L = 1 US Gallon) that means that gas there was about $3.40 a gallon.

My only complaint is why with the BP pipeline failure and all the other pressures on oil production is gasoline in this country down almost $.75 a gallon just before an election with an oil man as President...

I live in Mendoza, Argentina. I drive a 2004 VW Golf that uses premium. The price is $1.999 pesos per liter. 3.8 liters per gallon. $7.596 pesos per gallon. One US dollar is worth 3.06 pesos. 7.596 divided by 3.06 = $2.482 US dollars per gallon.
