I'm just a science geek with no fashion sense! I bought these really cute, high-healed boots that are mid-calf height. I have ankle-length skirts, knee-length skirts, and skirts that reach about mid-calf. Which can I wear with my boots? Any other type of shoes I should look for or avoid? Thanks in advance!

I always though skirts that barely hit the knee or a little above the knee looked stunning with mid-calf boots. It accentuates the legs and makes them look longer and leaner.
I'd avoid the boots that don't go up very far with skirts. They look great with jeans though.
Tie-up the ankle sandals (or espidrilles) are wonderful. I own a couple pairs and they look great with almost any length of skirt. I've worn with mini-skirts..calf-length skirts and looked great.

With mid-calf boots I consistently like the look of a mid length skirt (ok, i admire the look with a mini-skirt too :-), in spite of the undeniable fact that it quite is a 'extra desirable' look with a mid-length skirt). some thing real approximately knee length or somewhat above the knee. The skirts in the 22 to 24" length are consistently superb and look magnificent! an prolonged skirt with a super slit (to instruct off the boots) is a stable look too (yet I nonetheless desire some thing above the knee).

It's perfectly acceptable to wear any of those skirts with that type of boot, but I think you would look best wearing the skirts that are mid-calf. Boots meeting the hem of a skirt line is very trendy right now.

i have a pair of similar length boots. I usually wear mine with a skirt that hits a teeny bit above the knee. You dont want to wear a real long skirt with high boots. It just doesnt look right. If you have nice legs, show some off! :)

There are no rules on that. You can wear any length skirt with those.

I really like long dresses. My bf enjoys the brief ones. So my wardrobe is filled w/ 1/2 and 1/2.
