You are a communist. People like you destroy this country.

1. Disband the military and we are all dead.
2. Turning our defense to the UN violates our soverignty. Ever read the Constitution?
3. Banning firearms violates the 2nd Amendment. DId you know in our government, you have to pass a Constitutional Amendment to do this? I know you do not believe in democracy.
4. Seizing natural resources would violate the 5th Amendment. Ever heard of due process? You cannot take someone's property or anything from it without due compensation.
5. Free medical care. Too expensive. You make me sick. Leave America.
6. Raising taxes on $150K violates the equal protection clause.

If I voted for you, I'd probably have to learn Chinese or Korean because you were stupid enough to disband a VOLUNTARY military force and remove all of our defense systems, especially our right to bear arms. As Jefferson said, "That government is best which governs the least." You are talking about way too much government control. The Bill of Rights was written by intelligent men specifically to prevent people like you from getting into power. I could see a benefit to socialized medicine, but there should be no need to raise taxes if the government actually learned to manage its money. Putting you into office would turn the US back into a colony or put us under a new Hitler. Absolute power, corrupts absolutely.

I would love to live in a world where weapons were not needed as people could settle their differences without violence. That world does not exist, and I would NEVER vote for someone who obviously has no clue how the world really works and wants to take away every means of defense we have.

You have some good points and some bad points. It would depend on who you are running against.
I liked the tax raise you suggest and the medical care probably shouldn't be free, but affordable. The troops should be pulled back out of Iraq by a certain time and positioned in neighboring areas for support, but our military should not be disbanded...are you crazy? Fire arms is a difficult subject, I'll stay away from that one. I don't think we should turn over ALL of our defenses to the UN, but we should at least comply with the UN rules...after all, we are a part of the UN. We expect all other members to comply, why not us?
I think I know what kind of a political statement you are trying to make, but you got the ideas all wrong.

No, but I support these;

To bring home all troops and only use them when needed.
Utilize all our natural resources responsibly.
Establish free medical care for every one and leave no child behind.
Raise taxes back on everyone who earns over 150,000 a year.
Undo the damage done to the world and to our reputation.
Support higher education for all.

I agree with the last 4, but we need military just not in IRAQ or the middle east unless we are looking for Ossama, which I doubt we really are

Yeah, right, you are as far to the left as George Bush is to the right.

Just what we need is four or eight years of backwards-*** thinking.....

No thanks, give me John McCain and Colin Powell with a democratic congress and we'll be just fine.
