Um, a day? I only studied before an exam, probably 24 hours. Yes I was a crammer. Aside from that I only did the readings that were required for each class, couple hours here & there.

First year - 3 hours per day the first month, none up until the month before exams then every waking moment after that.

Second year - none up until the month before exams then every waking moment after that, except around Carnival time, then we slept all day, partied all night and felt guilty about not studying.

I've always had difficulty studying and never had good study habits or much experience studying in a group before college, therefore I did enough to get a solid B, in all classes and then worked on the As after that. If it came down to an A or a party, the A would always win except at Carnival time

It has been a long time since I graduated from college in the old days of 1982, but it used to be said that you should study 2 hours for every 1 hour spent in class. For harder classes that required a lot of reading, I found this to be pretty accurate. Classes that required a lot of projects or term papers I usually spent closer to 3 to 1 ratio. To balance things out, some classes like swimming and archery required no outside class time. I always tried to have at least one "easy" class in the class load.

I study about 1 hour for every 2 classroom hours per week. More around finals and midterms for example if you have a 4 hour class 3 times a week you would study 6 hours a week for that class.

At least 1 to 2 hours per credit per week. So 14 credits you can expect to study about 25 to 28 hours a week. Good Luck! :)

You need to study at least 1 to 2 hours per class. If you take copious notes then the time will be less.

Depends on the semester! In undergrad I studied in the middle of the night and averaged 40 hours a week. In grad school, it was more like 10 hours a week--and it was supposed to be harder!

I did quite a bit of studying. I tried to look over my notes at least once a day for all classes and actually got really indepth studying done for one class a day. Then on weekends I partied. Study all week, party hearty on weekends. It worked for me, came out with high honors.
