It depends dear friend.

If you apologises when deep in your heart you know what you did is right but you do it anyway due to pressure, then it is weakness.

But if you apologises for, for eg, having hurt someone unwillingly or did a mistake and accept ur mistake after realising it's your fault, then it is a honest, wise, and courageous effort.

It's a sign of strength.

I've never seen a weak person make a genuine apology. Their apologies are hollow perfunctory gestures that they exercise because they HAVE to. A truly strong person wants to make amends when they are wrong.

No it is polite if you did something wrong to offend another person feelings and you are suppose to apologize or the other person would think of you as RUDE!!!
