Accountable Talk is a big thing in my school district. They want students to communicate verbally with each other, to develop language and social skills. In a classroom where verbal interaction occurs you will see students speaking out their ideas, thoughts, reflections, and talking to their peers and teacher.

Verbal interaction are peers communicating with one another in a healthy manner to learn how to socialize in a productive manner and to learn how to work in groups and share ideas.

Talking. If you talk to someone and they talk back to you, this is verbal interaction.
