Huckleberry Finn: Analysis Conflicts: Man vs. Man -The man vs. man conflict is brought up many times throughout this story. The first that is posed is the conflict between Huckleberry and Pap. Pap is Huckleberry’s abusive biological father, and an alcoholic to boot. He first comes in and tries to steal his son’s fortune, just so he can get drunk. Huckleberry is kidnapped by his father for a short time, and during this is beaten many times.

Honey, if you can't finish the book and answer yourself, your best bet is to "Google" it. Start with "Huck Finn's internal conflict helping Jim reach freedom." Copy and paste the results, then change the words to make them your own, You'll probably have to go back through the book to find the quotes mentioned and put the page numbers in. Then you Google "Mark Twain on greed in Huckleberry Finn" and so on. You should come up with the information you need. This is not the way you should be doing assignments, though. I'm sure you know that, but as far as college prep goes, this is a bad habit to get into.

Read the book yourself. There is NO way you could have read that book and not know the existing conflict between Pap, Huck's biological father, and Huck himself. Reread it if necessary.

Chow!!
