My doctor suggested that with my second pregnancy. If I had to do it all over again, I NEVER would!!! I had a lot of problems during labor, my baby had a bowel movement inside me because of it, and that could have killed us both. I reported that Doctor afterwards. I am not trying to scare you, but it's the truth!

Castor oil is very safe, all it does is aggrivate the digestive track which rubs against your uterus which in turn makes the uterus contract.Castor oil does not pass the placenta and even if it did it couldn't possible harm your baby.Castor oil makes you **** so it would not affect your baby in any way unless they were in the outside world and they themselves drank it and still it would only make them ****.Take the castor oil and walk walk walk to keep those contractions going you can't take it then sit or lay down cause that could cause the contractions to subside.

the baby will come when its ready. some say the wives tales are true but from personal experience i doubt it. I tried everything and was still 2wks over due and the doctor had to induce. Try alot of walking or sex if possible. Good luck

I think that your baby is not ready yet. I wuld give it at least a week. I would suggest that you let your baby come when its ready. My best freind used caster oil and the baby had a hard time during birth and ended up in ICU. I suggest waiting a little longer.

I never took it, I was told it wasn't safe and shouldn't be used. Try walking a lot, it worked for me but it took several miles!
