I have a small 4 door sedan. I was wondering how much it would cost to have a wheel alignment done on it. I want to do that first and then get some tires next payday. So for the alignment alone..how much can I expect to pay?

What do you guys mean parts? There are parts required to do a wheel alignement? I just notice my treads on my tire and getting old fast so I was told to get a wheel alignement. Would it be better to call around or do they have to have the car the there?

Honey, it all depends on who, where, when, etc.

Most places that you go should charge around $50 for a 2 wheel thrust alignment and at most $80 for a four wheel alignment. Most newer vehicles need to have a four wheel alignment but if its an older car the rear may not be adjustable. Good luck

Make sure the shop you are taking it to does a complete alignment.....adjusting all factory adjustable angles. Your car probably has adjustments for camber, caster and toe.

Do NOT take it to a shop that is just going to set the front toe and pretend they did an alignment.

If you don't need any parts you can expect to pay $75 or less.

It would depend on the vehicle, and repairs needed, and the market where ever you are located. And to anticipate your next question, it would depend on the quality of the new tires, anywhere from $45 to $200 per tire.

Too many variables to consider, when was it done last, your driving ability, (curbs, potholes, speed bumps), and then of course the over condition of the roads that you drive on. But as a general idea, with no hard part replacement, shouldn't be higher than $150.00
