U can record radio off the internet by downloading a software called Audacity. Go to www.audacity.sourceforge.net and you will then be able to record internet radio into mp3 or WAV format.

Yes you can sure record any streaming audio in your own computer with ease.Normal windows recorder will do but it has only less time of recording.But other softwares like cool edit pro or adobe audition will do the job for longer recording.Recently cool edit pro was brought by adobe and so they changed their name as adobe audition all the features of both the software are same except for the name.
So here is how you do it
1.Have a pin first that can be inserted into the headphone jack of your computer and the other end of the pin should also be the same pin
2.Now connect one end to the headphone jack and the other end to the line-in jack of the computer.
3.After doing this check in the volume control taskbar that the lin-in is selected and it is kept at the appropriate volume level
4.Now open the software for recording and play the internet radio station that you want to record and press the record button in the software and this should do the job right and then after recording save the file as an mp3 or whatever format you like using the software

I use sony soundforge for recording and editing, the software allows you to record audio from different sources including the soundcard so when u stream internet radio, it records it to your hard drive. you can then edit the sound file and save it as whatever format suits your needs.

you don't need software.... buy a quality portable minidisc recorder from say, ebay (£5-10), and connect its 'line in' to the computer speaker out, press record, and you can record any sound from pc to quality digital disc...

There are softwares, that let you record sound too, any way if you ca dowload it, it is recorded

I have not tried any of them so I dont know which one to reccomend to you.
