My name is Earl/ The office, Survivor, Ugly Betty and 'Til Death do us Part are all on at the same time. I did not even get to see "til Death because I DVR'd 2 shows and watched another and that was all I could do. Why would networks launch 2 pilots against three (Earl,Office,Survivor) of the most popular shows on? Then we all wonder why good shows get canceled- no one is going to skip their favorite shows to check out a pilot and even with the new DVR technology you can't watch it all. Anyone with me?

Then the rest of the week sucks. Spread the good shows out so we can actually watch them!

Yes, I do agree there are a few good shows on other days. One here, one there. I like to watch Amazing Race and I know a few of you mentioned some good shows, but those are like one show on one night. This Thursday night 8-9 timeslot is way overburdened. I too have to set every recording device in my house, then go watch in another room. Maybe I should just give up TV altogether. TV should not cause a person stress! lol

You could watch Lost on Wednesdays.......I don't know if you like House or Gilmore Girls on Tuesdays.

I agree!!! I also like CSI on Thursday. I have a small tv in the kitchen with a VCR hooked up to it. It catches what I can't in the living room! Too bad network isn't like cable - the shows are run again later that night or on another night. And no, I don't want to pay $1 to download it because it will eventually be re-run.

LOL I hear you! we record 2 on our DVR and then watch a show in another room while 2 are recording.
Did you see the Office last night? That was great!

Thursday is the night that networks can charge the most for their advertisements, so each network wants to make sure it has high ratings on Thursdays.
Thursday has the highest rates because advertisers want to reach buyers before the weekend.
