If you're trying to get into a bar or club, they usually don't accept foriegn licences or some out of state licences. A passport would be a better way to go.

No, any age of proof in the US is only if it has been issued by a State department. In all other cases a passport is to be shown.

Most definitely YES - so long as it is a photo card!

I have used it this year and stayed in the US for three months - no problems!

I don't see why not, after all, - in England you'll be a year older than you need to with regard to driving in the states.....

yes!i have done it myself!but the really strange experience i had was that the young man serving me looked like he was around twelve years of age himself
