Y! says that ENTERING into Y! Beta is free.
Actually what is meant by BETA? Is it something like a service that is only free for a certain period of time & after that it costs?

Will Y! charge us some fee for USING Y! Beta.
Can all of the Y! id holders can use Beta or only those are invited can use Beta?

It is free. It is basically just an upgrade, similar to an Outlook platform. Some older operating systems cannot use it but it will give you the option to sign in under the old yahoo, or you can change back whenever you feel like it if you end up not liking Beta. I think Yahoo started inviting the users in steps, I'm sure eventually it will be available to all Yahoo users.

a beta is a pre release version of a program; released to be evaluated by the customer; it is likely to have errors in. If you mean y! mail beta i use the free yahoo mail which i switched to the beta version free. Yahoo mail beta doesnt cost a penny
