Having delivered 93 babies, and fathered two, I can tell you that all goes back to normal. The vaginal wall is muscular and even though it does stretch out for delivery, within a few days, it is back to normal.
The female body undergoes a whole series of changes during labor, NONE of them are permanent and guys, the doctors are tired of the old joke about " put an extra stitch in it". Its old and worn out so leave the joke at home, be there to support your wife.
And when you have a new healthy baby, go get your wife some roses and make her feel even more special.

Yes, the vaginal area does loosen up some. Think about it a babies head isn't small. It is usually recommended that you have no sex for six weeks after the baby is born and this gives you time to recuperate and for your Virgina muscles to tighten back up. Men always seem to enjoy sex with a pregnant woman or one that has just recently given birth. I don't know how true it is but if you nurse your baby you get into shape faster than if you don't. It worked for me.

She is looser but the men seem to still enjoy it. I have had 4 c-sections and am very glad to have done it this way. Just keep doing your kegels and that will tighten it back up.

The vagina does stretch for labor as does the cervix. You are supossed to wait until your six week check up, and the doctors okay to have sex. It does shrink back down, sometimes tighter than before, as mine did. And the sex is still incredible to both me and my man!
