I am interested in buying the Karaoke version of several songs.

Can someone reccomend a web site that would allow me to either download the individual songs, or be able to create a custom CD with the specific songs that I am looking for?

I would prefer to pay for just the songs I want and not alot of other songs that I dont like or wont use.

Thank you in advance.

I am also disappointed in the fact that I cannot get the original music that was on the original album.
It appears that other bands are covering these songs, rather than using the original studio tapes and re-recording a CD without the vocals.

Thats really what I am looking for.

Absolutely no commercial karaoke backing tracks are created by the original artist. Nor are they created from the original recording. They are all created by studio musicians. Some sound very close to the original and some do not.

There are places to download individual karaoke songs in the MP3+G format. The one at http://tricerasoft.com/karaoke_songs/songs.html is probably the largest and best.

You can have custom karaoke discs created. MyCDG.com http://www.mycdg.com/ has the largest selection.
