Frankly I doubt it. But we'll never know.

Yes we went to the moon, the only people who doubt this are usually loons, don't be a loon. We also went back a few times,it's just that if you weren't around at that time then the only one you are ever really exposed to is the first moon landing with Neil Armstrong. But the entire Apollo program was built around going to the moon. That's where Apollo 13 was headed to or back from when they had all their problems. Why we haven't been back since I don't know, although it would be pointless,I think we have learned all we need to from the moon. The only purpose I could see would be to test propulsion systems in close enough proximity to allow rescue if need be. If we are really serious about space travel we need to be heading outwards to the other planets to stage further travels,in that the moon could be of some use I believe if we colonized it on a small scale to provide a launching pad for travels farther out.

We did land on the moon, several times. Although this isn't obsolute proof, I remember seeing it happen on TV, & the newscasters were pretty convinced!

Why we haven't been back? Money. People think it is a waste of money to go anywhere else. So, no one gives them money, the government holds back & we stay put. But, we are going back. There is plan now to build an "Apollo on steroids", & a friend of mine is working on it. We will be building a launching station on the moon to go to other planets. Mars is first, I would guess.

But then, I was told by a guy who came into my company that we were told by the inhabitans of the dark side not to come back to the moon & that is why we hadn't been back!
I just nodded & smiled...& thanked heaven when he left!

No! Supposedly, we did. I believe however, that it was all a hoax.
The whole thing was staged. How in the world was the American flag flapping in the wind, if there's no air up there. And no ther astronauts have gone back because we never went there in the first place.

Yes, we have been there several times, beginning in 1969, there wasn't much to do and it was expensive to go there, so we stopped sending people there.
