They're not all kids...some of them are whining adults too. :)

I'm a teen and I come on this site to find out what other people think about the books I read and the movies I watch and the topics that intrest me. I can spell and I don't make an *** out of myself. You're just catorgoizing teens as unintelligent, but not all teens are. Some are smart about what they do on the internet and what they say to people that they don't know. So don't say all these teens do it. When that's not true. I'm in school right now and there is nothing for me to do. So you need to be kind or get off and stop pissing and moaning to other people about the stupid idiots on the computer that you seem to run into.

Ever take a moment to think those "kids" may be IN SCHOOL? Kids often have "free periods" or "computer lab" periods, or "study hall" where computer access is available. The social aspects of grade and high school are often miserable for those who are not part of the "elite, popular" group, and the internet allows for these kids to vent their frustrations.
The anonymity of the internet allows for all sorts of anti-social behaviors, including the "trolling" of forums, bulletin boards, Yahoo Answers and the "Discussion" areas on news items.
Considering your own crimes of spelling, grammar and punctuation, I don't think you really have any place to complain. Many of these kids use cell-phone text messages to communicate, and with the restrictions that are inherent in those messages, the "text speak" of constant abbreviations becomes their casual communication medium.
Maybe you need to learn to "turn the channel or turn it off" and stop getting all riled up over something this inconsequential.

Dear grlnextdoor8852,
Whoa - don't take it so seriously. Sure, there are some
pretty silly answers, but those can come from any age group, not just "children" and "TEENS." (and, according to your profile, you're not all that distant from "teenhood" yourself.)
Besides, how can anyone know for certain HOW old an answerer/questioner really is? We have to take his/her word for it.
As for the "bad spelling", that's no help; plenty of adults are bad spellers while plenty of children/teens are good ones.
Finally, who knows? Those "children" and "teens" can have legitimate questions to ask, and they may even learn something from visiting Yahoo Answers.
I'd say you've gotten much too worked up over what seems to me to be an occasional, minor (no pun intended) annoyance.

Tell us how you REALLY feel. Nice example you're setting. I don't get your hostility. Kids look for guidance too and have much less control over their lives than do adults. I don't imagine your tirade helps much.
I get your frustration, but am saddened by your nasty way of venting it. People who are mean to kids who are obviously already having a tough time, make me feel sick to my stomach.

Wow...that's pretty harsh coming from someone who is apparently sitting on your own fat *** and complaining about everyone else.
