a friend of mine told me that in order for us to do anything together that it has to be in so much of an advance. i invited her to this party at a friends house for women things and she was all excited about it. i asked her 2-3 weeks ahead of time. then she couldn't go because she was too busy with her boyfriend whom she basically lives with. but if it was a different friend it would have been fine.
she said that she was sick and that she couldn't drive anywhere but yet goes over 30 miles away

Well first of all its a woman's prerogative to change her mind. Second she doesn't sound like much of a friend if she cant even do things with you. And finally to test this theory next time she ask you to do something, do the same thing to her and if she gets mad, or even act like she don't care, then you'll know how much of a friend she really is.

Friends like this never change. Don't revolve anything around her, because you more than likely will not ever get her to change.

She seems to basically be making excuses to get out of things she doesn't want to do and she doesn't want to hurt your feelings.
