I need a free website or some kind of program that I can publish HTML websites to the internet. I would like it if someone knew of a website were publishing an HTML website free but if not thats OK to! A link would be helpful.

There are many sites which proved free web hosting. I will lits few here for example
1 yahoo (yes it does heard of geosites!)
2 MSN (Yes it does too! Msn live pages)
3 www.netfrims.com
4 www.bravenet.com
5 www.doteasy.com/
And, you can search for more on your favourite search engine However all these free web hosting company would put their advertisements on your page.

I agree with Chris G but I also wanted to commend you for doing this in Notepad. Most developers (especially newbies) want to use a WYSIWYG tool. I always tell them that if they get stuck somewhere trying to debug code, every machine (PC) has notepad.
