It sounds like an electrolyte imbalance. Muscle cramps are a sure sign on dehydration. Gas can also be attributed to dehydration, but usually is just caused by the foods you eat. The pain under the ribs can be from the gas. Chest pain can happen when there is an electrolyte imbalance as well.

This is assuming you are not taking any controlled substances - such as lorcet, percocet, darvocet, oxycodone, oxycotin. Because If you are taking these (or any pain medication / controlled substance) and getting enough water, you may simply be having a side effect associated to a narcotic. (chest pain being the big side effect there). Also, narcotics tend to over-relax the diaphragm and cause hiccups and that could be a cause of achy under the ribs. And narcotics can and will cause constipation and gas build up.

Try changing your diet and add excercise. The stabbing pains sound like gas and the cramps are non-specific sounding.
