I think that you should go and fall down the hole left by the paving slab you removed and then sue the council for millions then there is no need for the 10p.

Take up the paving slab, 10p'n'all, go to the garden centre and buy a new slab.........include in your payment to the company the slab with the 10p attached it must surely still be legal tender. Go home, lay new slab and take a nice comfy chair into the garden, sit and look at your achievement, with a satisfied grin on your face.... :-)

If you have one of those kitchen "burners" (used to make Creme Brulee) - GENTLY heat the glue, and remove the coin using a pair of tweezers.
Next step; use turpentine to remove the glue from the coin. Should be OK after that.

I am not very good at those kinds of things....Maybe try to super glue something with a handel to the other side and pull???If it hurst the coin,Im sorry,and also,this was not tried on anything,so this was just a guess!!!>.

nail polish remover should do the trick, if not any hardware shop have super glue remover...
paint stripper is a good option to.
