wal-mart. i don't still work there. i was there 6 mos. i started in lawn & garden then when the season was over they moved inside the store. wal-mart has pay scales for their different positions. moving inside the store was a pay cut, however, no one had the balls to tell me that. i had to find out for myself.
after that it was just one thing after another until i finally gave my two weeks.
you would think a mult-billion dollar company could treat their employees better. everyone is part time, the insurance (if you can get it) isn't very good & no one is eligible for any vacation time until they've worked there for at least a year.
that being said, most of the people i worked with were very negative all the time. that becomes a constant drain after a while.

not sure if it was a company but was on a yts scheme at 16 working at sea, fishing.sometimes did 48 hrs with out sleep and did 24hrs regular a month at a time. the north sea was very dangerous especialy when the weather was bad. and all for £28.50 a wk and a wk off. only water we had was for drinking and cleaning pots up but had endless supply of fish to eat. stuck it out for 2 yr and quit to work on an oil refinary for over £300 p.w. and home every day.that was 20 yr ago.

Merrill Corporation. The actual job duties themselves were not that difficult for me to perform, but my boss and supervisors made that job suck.
I am a good, reliable employee. Showed up on time and studied hard to learn my job. But my boss would pull me into her office at least once every week saying she had some "concerns" about me.... I'm either not learning fast enough/learning too fast/ forgot one tiny frickin' detail or some stupid thing they could come up with. They micromanage the crap out of their employees.
I quit after only 5 months because I know I am a good employee and couldn't stand it anymore when they kept trying to make me feel like crap. I also know someone who worked there at the same company 15 years ago and it was the same way with him. They make you feel like you are stupid and inadequate when they, the company themselves, are the ones that are.

Probably Kirby vacuum cleaners I actually lost money. I worked for a couple small contractors that never paid me. The worst manager I ever had was at Sears. I worked on Dec. 23 and before I went home, I asked him what my hours would be the following week. He told me that he hadn't made out the schedule for the following week and call him, tomorrow. I called him back on Christmas Eve and he told me he had to lay me off.

The city water department. I stayed for 3+ years. And what made it so bad was the management. They hired people who had no clue what they were doing, who in turn hired their kids who had no clue what they were doing. And then when their child did something wrong it was blamed on people like me. There was tons of backstabbing and lots of jealous women who hated because they knew I wasn't going to be there forever. The worst part was they tried to fire me, without even giving me notice. Ironically my job title was student worker and they wanted to fire me because school got in the way.

I SOLD IT
Ebay listing service
The company is fine...its a nice idea but the company itself is only out for the franchise money and then leave the independent owners to struggle. The independent owner I worked for..never paid her rent, or bills and then let us the employee's be yelled out because she would never show to work and take responsiblity.
I worked for one year to the date and no I do not work their anymore..
i know work for 4auctionhelp which is also a ebay listing service which is family owned and remains a great company to work for.

I worked for this hospital in their HR department. I only lasted for 8 months . I didn't like it because no one there was happy. We had a 300 vacany in job positions per month, and I was doing a 4 person job with no assistance.

No I do not work there now. I want to keep it private so as to not hurt others who work there. The company had an owner who was sadistic and liked hurting people's feelings. It was awful.
