iPods are pretty easy to use, but they break easily. And iTunes can be complicated. I would look at the Creative Line of MP3 players and read the reviews, prices and features. I think it depends on what you want. If you want video, go with a video iPod or Creative Zen Vision:M (I have a Creative Zen Vision:M and it's great. I've had no problems with it, I have tons of music, pictures and video. You can now buy video at amazon.com It takes awhile to get used to, but once you get the hang of it it's easy to use). If you want just music, iPod nano or Zen V. I saw the Zen V at Walmart and it looked very cool. Small, with a joystick. Do not get anything without a screen, it's horrible.
