OK, shall we get this straight??
A OuiJa board is ONLY a board with markings, no more and no less than Tarot Cards are too, and is used for divination, exactly the same as reading tea leaves, a crystal ball, a midwife dangling a wedding ring over a pregnant mum-to-be.
All are divination forms, no more dangerous than others, HOWEVER, it is the USERS of this that are the problem, NOT the article.
When using a OuiJa board ones psyche is disturbed (for better or worse) and it can trigger the 3rd eye opening, this is caused by hormones.
SO put a OuiJa board in front of a bunch of senile 80+ senior citizens and very little will happen.
Put this same board in front of pre/post pubescent teenagers and all sorts of psychosis energies are created.
Used sensibly and properly, there is no problem, used irresponsibly and the groups own psychosis will generate things that are better left alone.

I've never actually had a Ouija board move on it's own and if it has then I wasn't aware of it. I always thought it was just my friends or me moving the device.

From what I've learned. the Ouija Board was marketed as a game many years ago, but it seems to be much more. It has the potential to open the door to evil spirits at times, and should only be used with caution. I don't think I would fool around with one.

You have to be EXTREMELY careful with the Ouija board!!
a few years ago a large group of us were fooling about with 1 & each accused the other of moving the letter & number indicator. But when everyone who was partisipating @ the time took took their fingers off of it & it still continued to move, spelling out a womans name ( which we wrote down ). After regaing our composure & also control of the indicator we asked more & more questions of this girl & actually went to the gravryard were she said she was buried & low & behold DID find her grave. we had far too many experiences to put down here now, BUT on another accaision different things ALL BAD happened to all those taking part E.G, car crashes motor cycle crashes illnesses etc etc all in the spated of a few days . So be careful

I think similarly to pendulums, that ouija boards give some people an unnanticipated glance at their subconscious minds, and occassionally, show them something that they did not wish to see of themselves.

The board itself does not have any power, however, when using it, it is a way to welcome in the spirit world...not the good ones either. Whoever we welcomed in when we "played" with it literally knocked a friend of ours out of his chair and locked us in a room that did not have a lock. So if you want to be freaked out, have problems and let evil in, keep it around.

I think they're fake. My best friend didn't. I always moved it, she always believed it. We never fought about it. We just thought it was funny that deep down we both knew what the other was doing but never said anything!

A lot of religious people will completely shun them, saying they are evil. I personally think they are fake, and its only people that give it the power. Its just a stupid toy.
