This depends on what you want.
For all-out length & fullness, Clinique High Impact and L'Oreal Voluminous Full Definition are my favorites. Lancome's Definicils is great too, but almost identical to the L'Oreal stuff (made by the same company) so why not save some $?
For length & great definition, MAC Pro Lash.
For easy application, some length & fullness, Cover Girl Lash Exact or Max Factor Lash Perfection. Also made by the same company. I'm a length & drama girl, so I usually only wear the waterproof kind when I'm going for a more natural look. This is super easy to apply because it doesn't clump at all.
On the "highly overrated" scale I would put Maybelline Great Lash...it's "classic" but not great at all, very smeary. It wins a lot of "reader" awards in magazines but beauty editors and makeup artists don't use it!

Maybelline Great Lash. When you apply, wipe off the mascara on the wand with a tissue and coat your lashes twice... Don't pump the wand up and down, it creates gaps of air..

I just love, love, love my new mascara. L'Oreal Volume Express, it doesn't clump or look spidery. The colour is great, and the only way of getting it off is to scrub with eyemakeup remover, I went swimming with it on and it didn't even flinch.

I have tried soooooo many different kinds, the expensive and inexpensive. And I always come back to my fav.....
It's Cover Girl's all in one professional mascara. It's only like 5 bucks and it beats all the others i've tried....LOVE IT!

Max Factor Lash perfection....the brush is made of rubber..so there is NO clumping...it separates and makes your lashes long and beautiful! I used to only use Lancome because it was top of the line and until recently felt it was the best.....this max factor is a fraction of the cost and I absolutely love it! hope that helps, best wishes!

I personally think Cover Girl Lash Exact is wonderful. I don't get any clumping from the unique brush it has. It makes my lashes longer and more noticeable. Max Factor also has one with the new brush that you could try too.

Covergirl Lash Exact. It coats all of the eyelashes without clumping them together, plus it makes them look much longer and fuller. The best of all three worlds.
