The gray thing that brings in water started to spray water all over the place, then the tank won't fill up with water. What can I do? I can't afford a plumber.

The connector hose?

Try to tighten it on both ends first. If it does not work, turn off the water valve by the toilet. Go to Home Depot, even Wal-Mart. Buy another flexible hose just like it, and replace it. It is easy, you just screw it on. Then turn the water valve back on, and see what happens

It's the supply line. You either have a cracked one, or a nut came loose. There is a nut at the bottom of the toilet and 1 at the bottom of that little pipe. Carefully check to see if they're both tight. If so, you may just need a new supply line. I assume you already turned off the valve at the wall. Loosen the 2 nuts and remove this little pipe. take it to Home depot or hardware store and they'll fix you up with a new flexible one that is the right diameter. They'll show you briefly how to install this new one. No big deal. good luck
