During the 70’s Utah had 25% of the workers union. Sense then union membership has dropped to less than 6% and wages have dropped relative to wages. In Utah who wants to form a union where they work???

Utah is not unique.

Most manufacturing jobs have been outsourced overseas in the name of efficiency (profit). The US economic base is changing away from manufacturing toward service, technology and financial. In most cases the workforce is better educated, independent and doesn't see the need for a Union "to speak for them".

The Union's biggest opportunity lies in the government, service and teaching sectors.
