i want to change up a normal dorthy (wizard of oz) costume. im kinda weird and dont want to be just plain ol' dorthy! THANX!

Black and white Dorothy, before she goes to Oz- EVERYTHING (including skin, make-up and hair) would be black, white, or grey. Decorate a basket and stuffed dog the same way.
"Blizzard of Oz"- dress up like Dorothy, but wearing a parka or earmuffs and galoshes, etc.
"Lizard of Oz"- makeup for a lizard...

Well you could always try to be the dorthy from the wiz and dress like Diana Ross. You could be a punk Dorothy lots of piercings. How about a Larger TOTO? Do you have the costume or are you making it? If making it you could reverse the look. put the ginham on the blouse and make the dress white.
OR you could make the gingham out of brown or even black and white check to be the black and white (or Sepia) look of the begining of the show.

Put a stuffed toto in a basket and carry it with you. Don't forget the ruby slippers!

Spray your hair, paint your face and wear pink hi-heel shoes. that should do the trick.
