I think you're worrying too much. You're causing yourself (and your unborn baby) a lot of stress by worrying too much, which I'm sure you're not meaning to do. Try to relax as much as possible - it's very early in your pregnancy and you probably won't be feeling too much inside (except may for some morning sickness). Try to keep a positive attitude that you're going to have a healthy, happy baby. I know it's easier said than done, but hang in there!

I'm not trying to be the bearer of bad news but... I was almost three months pregnant and I went to hear the heartbeat and they couldn't hear it. It was still early in the pregnancy so they did an ultrasound and scanned for it, and still did not find it. I found out my baby had been dead for about a week and I had absolutely no idea. Chances are though, that you'll know because your body will expell it on it's on and you'll have some bleeding. For my second pregnancy I was scared beyond belief that the same thing would happen, and they struggled to find the heartbeat for about 5 minutes... I held my breath the whole time. But they found it and all was well. It's normal to be worried; one of the perks of being pregnant: you worry about EVERYTHING. You're just being a good mother. I don't want my story to worry you more; just thought I'd share. Don't worry cause the two of you willl more than likely be just fine. Besides, worrying is not good for your baby. Good Luck and Congratulations!!

you need to try and calm down since its doing you any good and its not good for the baby... i had a miscarriage a while back and i was so scared b/c they made me wait 2 weeks to confirm it and when i got pregnant again i went and had an ultrasound and i was so nervous b/c she had the screen turned away from me for the longest time and i thought something was wrong but eventually she turned it my way and i got to see the baby... it was such a relief to see it moving and squirming around.. my fiance had the biggest grin on his face when he saw it on there... but everything is fine and im 33 weeks along...

but just remember to keep calm and it sounds like you dont have a reason to worry b/c you didnt say you were bleeding or cramping so everything is going fine.. some people dont have any symptoms at all

good luck and congrats!!

The worst thing to do is stress like you are. STOP IT. only one out of every five pregnancy ends in miscarriage. I am sure you will be OK. Sounds like mabey you had this happen to you before? Sometimes a baby can also hide its heart beat at this stage. They can burrow down in your pelvic bone and it can block the ultrasound rays. But I am sure that you will be fine. Stop stressing though, or you could cause the baby to stress. Good luck Hun and I am sure everything is fine.

I had my first ultrasound when I was 6 weeks and they could see the heart beating but I wasn't able to hear it and they didn't try to listen to it either.I just went to the doctor and I am 9 weeks and the doctor didn't even check for a heart beat either he just went in and asked me how I was doing and if I was having any problems.

Sweetie relax. Sometimes even as early as 6-9 weeks it can be difficult to find a hb on ultrasound, you are talking about a baby that is still cells in mulitplication.

I am 7 weeks, and I have had some m/s, no throw up and small cramping.
good luck. dont worry.

As long as your breasts are still tender you really don't have much to worry about.

My first ultrasound was when I finally began to feel pregnant. Its a wonderful thing to hear that heart beat and see that blob.

Don't worry about it until the doctor tells you there is something wrong.

Start by using a condom from now on. If any damage was done already by not using protection, hopefully it is something you can deal with. Find a local free clinic and get yourself tested for pregnancy and std's. Then when everything comes out ok, remember this time that you were so scared, because you might not be that lucky next time! GOOD LUCK!

You would know if you had a miscarriage trust me. It starts out like cramping and then you start bleeding heavy at this time you would have miscarried if you haven't had this than you are worrying for nothing. Relax the ultrasound will put your fears to rest.
