1.) Taste and See

Refrain
Taste and see the goodness of the Lord,
the goodness of the Lord.
Taste and see the goodness of the Lord,
the goodness of the Lord.
1. I will bless the Lord at all times.
Praise will be on my lips.
My soul will glory in the Lord.
The poor will hear and be glad.
2. I sought the Lord who answered me,
delivered me from my fear.
Look to God that you might shine
with the radiance of God's joy.
3. The Lord has eyes for justice,
ears to hear your cry.
God knows your broken heart.
The Lord redeems a loyal servant.
Take refuge in your God.

2.) There's also a Newsboys version

Taste and See

na na na na na na na na na na na
na na na na na na na na na na na
Chorus
taste and see that the Lord is good
taste and see He's so good for you
taste and see that the Lord is good
taste and see He's so good for you
for the light will bring to all
a harvest good and plenty
but for those who don't, don't believe it,
their life will still, will still be empty
- Chorus -
don't let yourself, yourself be taken
by the foolish words of men
they say that God is oh-so tasteless,
but they've never tasted Him
na na na na na na na na na na na
na na na na na na na na na na na
Rap:
Ah! I gotta express
my point of view
To the world.
So I'm tellin' you.
Newsboys
are here in effect
with the Word of God,
and so you'd better check us out.
We're Christians.
You know what I mean.
Full-bustin' a rap
with the Holy Ghost scene.
Throwing down the truth,
as a matter of fact.
Step up, homie,
it's a sanctified rap.
Christians?!
You betcha.
And if you wanna know,
I'm gonna let ya
that the power of God
has taken over my life.
And give your life to Him
and it will get ya...
- Chorus -

3.)Taste and See

Come and eat the bread of heaven,
whosoever will;
God's True Manna, freely given
empty hearts to fill.
Let us declare his sacrifice--
his broken body and his blood;
In Jesus' death we will find new life
and we'll feast at the table of God.
Oh, come and eat the bread of heaven,
whosoever will.
O sinner, taste and see
that the Lord is good!

Drink the wine of God's salvation,
graciously outpoured,
For the bitter cup was taken
by our faithful Lord.
Let us declare his sacrifice--
his broken body and his blood;
In Jesus' death we will find new life
and we'll feast at the table of God.
Oh, drink the wine of God's salvation,
graciously outpoured.
O sinner, taste and see
that the Lord is good!

Come, Lord Jesus, come in glory,
all things to renew!
Make our faith firm, always only
feeding on you.
We will declare your sacrifice--
your broken body and your blood;
And in your death we will find new life
till we feast at the table of God,
Now come Lord Jesus, come in glory,
all things to renew!
Then we will taste and see
that the Lord is good!
Then we will taste and see
that the Lord is good!

4.) Taste and See

O taste and see
That the Lord is good
O taste and see
That the Lord is good
He is good to me

You've turned my mourning
Into dancing
Put off my rags and clothed me with gladness
And I will arise and I will praise you
I'll sing and not be silent

O Lord, My God
I will give thanks to you forever
O Lord, My God
I will give thanks to you

And I'll live only for you
And I'll lift these hands up to you
And I'll dance before you
I will shout it, I will shout it to you

because of the fact they are heart warming and extremely sort and considerate. That feeling you get on your abdomen, after somebody does a solid deed for you, is the hot sensation of sweetness. Have a fabulous day :) *Stars*
