Obvisiously both are 'bad' for you. I have been doing both for 20ish years. I wish i could stop smoking and will some day but god i love it. When i smoke no one else is around and it is truely my quiet time even if it was for only 10 minutes.
Drinking....I love a couple drinks with friends. I have cut down majorly in the last couple years but still love it!!!
As for answering your question: If i had to give one up for the rest of my life it would be smoking. I cant give up my beer or Soco

i personally prefer drinking because, although it can be more expensive, i can do it more moderately. smoking is more addicting and in the end will cost more. i enjoy to drink socially and i enjoy the effects. the only downfall is the hangover, which can be prevented if you have enough water before bed. i know neither are good for you, but i think drinking helps you loosen up a little, atleast it does for me. when i've had a rough week i like to unwind with a few good drinks, and a few good friends..

Well I am a smoker. I don't drink much, but I guess drinking is better than smoking. cause you can drink in moderation. Smoking is just plain bad.
