Some men do get horny watching women smoke. It's a fetish, just like those men who have foot festish. My ex used to get extremely horny if I smoked. I'm not a smoker. I only smoked a few cigarettes socially. At times, he would beg me to smoke. Anyway, he was too physical. He is history now.

If it is anything other than the alcohol, it may be that those long, skinny cigarettes bring to mind the long gone days of high class, when only 'bad girls' smoked. Like in the movies from the black and white days when romance was still macho.

I agree with Patty. It comes from the femininity of the long skinny cig it evokes a mystique and classy image (although coughing up blood will soon still that notion).
Nothings says trailer park like a girl who smokes Camels or Marlboros the thinner smokes say i am a lady.

It's just a fetish, people can get fetishes about anything. I don't have any fetishes relating to smoking though I dare say I do enjoy a well crafted meerschaum pipe.
