Go to a leather retail store and get a care pakage.

1. Test ideas before trying them. Go to craft store & buy a piece of leather remanent. If leather is black try using on sample a marker pen & allow to dry. Try craft paint. Mix colors test on sample. Always work with sample and ventiliation before attempting ideas on actual garment. Could call dry cleaners during slow time hours and see if they have a solution and if so ask how much it would cost for them to attempt to assist. Take garment in so they can view the problem. Ask them 1st if they think they can fix it. Do not assume that they are at fault if you are unhappy with the end result.

Permanent black magic marker (on black leather). What color is the leather? Is it suede? Need more info.
