what kind of jobs can you get with a history major?

i speak english only and am in my 2nd year in college and thinking about this major

There are a lot of doors open for history majors. Teaching from the elementary level through university is a common one. You could also get a job for the CIA, FBI, or other government branch. History majors are hired by museums, research organizations, think tanks, and can be authors for publishing houses. It is a very versatile degree and the research and writing skills gained in the process of obtaining the degree are considered as valuable as the historical knowledge.

for a BA, how many languages do you speak, do you have a driver's licence, and do you know the city well? Do0 you have teaching credentials?
