They are fooling you pet. When they tell you they are changing their socks, they are only swapping with each other........

The problem is bacteria growing. It is a cycle that is tough to break. The feet must be washed throughly every day - try anti-bacterial soap (if both men take showers, they probably ignore soaping up their feet - a small stool in the shower can help). Then you have have to get rid of the bacteria in the socks and shoes or it just starts all over again. Giving shoes a few days to dry out between wearings can help, but look for an anti-bacterial powder. Also try the anti-odor inserts to stop the bacteria.

Tried and true - this works! My feet smelled AWFUL, even wearing flip-flops all day!! I bought face astringent (like Sea Breeze) and clean my feet with it (using a cotton ball) every morning and night, after showering. I also use acne gel on them when I wear socks with tennis shoes. It appears as though I have keratolysis, which is caused by the same bacteria that cause acne. I have been doing this for two months (daily) and my feet not only smell better, but are softer!

I had disgusting feet for ages - no matter how I cleaned them, rinsed them, how often I changed shoes, what powders and medications etc. then by accident I got a pair of Dr Martens that time when it was fashionable to wear with skirts etc. I can say that they cured my feet, and I lived in those boots - for about a year that is all I wore. Now I don't wear them anymore but I no longer have any problems with my once fussy smelly feet at all, though I do ensure cotton rich socks changed daily and either leather insides or cotton, but not plasticy or synthetic.

There is a theory that toxins from what you eat end up in your feet. Their feet may be full of the same toxins. What are they eating? Do they work outdoors? When I work outside, I wear canvas and leather swamp boots (military style). They tend to let my feet "breathe". I find that washing my socks in hot water and bleach really helps as well.

If they are washing their feet every day, and keeping them ventilated at home, it should be tolerable. Have them take off their shoes in the entryway when they come home. It will be easier on the carpet, and airing out their feet should help. They should be washing their feet in the shower and, if necessary, at times during the day under the bathtub faucet.

I have the same problem with my boyfriend, but poor you having to put up with a double dose. Only thing I have found helps is flexitol foot powder sprinkled into the socks. It helps but doesn't get rid of it all together. Will be reading the other answers with interest, hope there's a cure!!!!

Change their diet to more vegetables and no salt. The lack of both of these is one of the reasons that their feet smell and their sweat smells. Get them to eat fruits and drink fruit juices whenever they can. Not only will this keep them healthier but it will give them more energy and help them maintain a balanced weight.
