I know who the owner before me was. I have the year it was built and the lot measurements and everything like that, I'm just curious about finding out about all the owners and how many times it changed hands since it was built.

Your CAD (Central Appraisal District) would be a good starting point. Additionally, the transfer of the deed when the house is sold would have to be recorded, the CAD should be able to direct you in that area as well.

Tax office would be a good start. You should be able to get a history of who the previous owners were from the tax office in your county.

Your city/county property appraiser should also be able to help. I know where I live that information is available online and is public information.

Go to zillow.com and they tell you when the house was sold and for how much not to mention how much it is now. However I think the timespan is limited.
